Yes - and we have a customer who set up a few trials before going live. The trials have expired and its no longer possible for them to get a password reminder for the accounts so they can be removed ( By adding a temporary super-admin as per the KB ] Looks very poor when talking to customers.

We are looking at changes to help avoid large numbers of reboot related alerts. This work is not yet planned, so I can’t provide a date, but the proposed implementation would be as below.

For urgent reboots, e.g. to complete removal of a competitor product being replaced, users will see a notification immediately.

For non-urgent reboots (i.e. where protection is maintained), users will not see a reboot for the first 2 weeks (typically they will reboot in this time anyway, e.g. for windows updates).

If not rebooted for 2 weeks they will see a notification they can dismiss.

The reboot notification be persistent on an endpoint; it will require acknowledgement by the user to clear it. We would expect to have a registry key to be able to prevent this behaviour for systems like shop tills, advertising displays and so on.

If a further week goes by without a reboot…

I tried raising this as a bug - due to the risk of endpoints failing to boot, the versions must be carefully checked. A number of our customers have hundreds of endpoints and manually checking these is not possible. If the functionality was in SEC, why isn't it in Central. Even looking at the RAG status, green doesn't mean the version is correct
Here's my attempt at raising this as a bug ( and Sophos response)

(( Sophos response)) Thank you for contacting Sophos Technical Support.
In Central the only report you can get is export to CSV under Devices. Currently we do not have a report to give you the details requested.

Customers need to urgently check which endpoints have been updated to the latest version of Sophos antivirus - this is as a result of the problems with the April update KB 133945 https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/133945

Unless customers examine devices individually in central, there doesn't appear to be a way of producing a report or adding fields to the "device display"

Each device needs to be accessed individually - our customers have hundreds of endpoints meaning checking the version is next to impossible,

One of our customers has SEC as well as Central and all he wants is to be able to display a list of endpoints indexed on Sophos Antivirus version number ( as he can do in SEC)

We do not consider this to be a feature request as Sophos are asking us / our customers to do something in the KB which doesn't appear to be currently possible with Central.

I have uploaded a picture that shows the functionality in SEC that's missing but required in Central. As you can see the green status isn't a good enough indicator to show the AV is up to date

Please release this functionality as soon as possible. We have customers with hundreds of endpoints who need to report / check AV version ( due to April 2019 update issue) and are unable to do this. SEC can do this- why not Central?

Our customers have a similar issue - they want to enable ALL webcams apart from one or two and this currently requires unblock by loads of different models & can't just allow MTP/PTP devices as that is too general.

We have one customer who wants to enable all webcams but block most mobiles ( both shown as MTP/PTP ) so they can't allow all these. Allowing webcams by model (rather than ID) also doesn't work as integrated webcams even on similar laptops are recognised as different models so each model has to be excepted individually. Its where less granularity is needed - ie: if a device is an integrated webcam, allow it . We don't care what model / device ID it is.
