This is being considered. The current intention is to add a superadmin role, making the default admin account just a member of that role.
This will allow you to create new superadmin accounts, capable of logging into the shell, adding ssh keys, and any other features limited currently to the named admin account.
Second, you will be able to disable or demote the named admin account.

The ability to modify the built-in user account is a necessary requirement for production network devices. +1 for this feature

Surely XG v.18 will have this basic piece of functionality.

This is a critical feature that is available thru the UI of the SG firewalls. Scheduled updates will be required to consider Cyberoam a legitimate replacement for Astaro.

This is a requirement if we will consider XG Firewalls to have a usable DHCP server for production environments

I agree with this. We are holding off on deploying more APX devices until the feature set matures.

Many client sites are going completely server less. This will require the network infrastructure to pick up the slack on DHCP server, NTP server, DNS server/relay. We would love to be able to use the XG firewall for this, since most switches do not have a mature solution for these services. +1 for this feature request
