Being able to deploy a far more cost-effective option to every single home user out there would be a huge step forward for the MSP side of this. I believe Sophos has a great chance to capture this market given it's free products now.
I'd also like to mention that Black Cipher Security has shown many of the standard suites including Sophos being bypassed. Proving it will become inevitable for households to have a product like the Sophos XG firewall for any worthwhile protections.
Opening up the doors for a subscription service will prove quite profitable.
If I could get a subscription for less than $300 a year I'd have at least 20 people completely covered in Sophos protections.
But, in that I'd want heartbeat at least, I feel that heartbeat would be one of the most unique and desirable components to this subscription. That is emphasising the fact that individual programs just are not enough anymore.
Let me put it this way, Sophos XG Home + internet security + heartbeat = superior competition to the Bitdefender box.
Sandstorm would be a beautiful addition of course, but I'd rather keep cost more inline to what households and solopreneur would be willing to pay.
