Quarantine summary messages for M365 Mail-Enabled Public Folders
Mail-enabled Public Folders in our M365 tenant space do not receive daily quarantine summary e-mails from the Sophos Central Mail Gateway. Quarantined messages can only be searched for and released administratively from the Sophos Central Admin portal, which is a poor use of IT admin time and resources. This is also a difficult scenario as the individuals who are responsible for managing these folders don't always know they are expecting e-mails so they don't know to reach out to IT to check for quarantine e-mails in these Public Folders - given the Quarantined Messages reporting tool can only search for a maximum results of 30 days, this may mean a needed e-mail that was quarantined may not be found let alone released.
There is also no means to create an "alias" in an active user's Sophos account to tie a Mail-Enabled Public Folder to a particular Sophos user's account for management.
We need a means to allow e-mails destined for Mail-Enabled Public Folders but are quarantined to be reported on either with the Public Folder receiving a quarantine summary e-mail in line with the rest of our users or to have a quarantine summary for the PFs sent to specific end users responsible for managing those PFs and to have those end users be granted the ability to manage the quarantines for those PFs (manage allow/block sender lists, release quarantined e-mails) without the need for IT Administrative intervention.
