Global Policy Templates resets to defaults base policies on all sub-estates.
Do not reset base policies on all sub-estates to defaults when a global policy template is used! Had I known the cost of imposing a global policy template for just a few days, I would never have used the feature! It's likely that because a global policy template resets all base policies back to their defaults, I will never use it again.

I also agree, even though I haven't done it yet. How about way to backup (or Export) the policy settings, then the ability to import (or Restore) Policy Settings. That would also speed up the process of creating Policies for Sub-Estates.
I agree. I had the same thing happen to me and it was not explained to me that it would occur. When i called in, I was told there was nothing they could do and I had to rebuild them. There should be an option to allow you to MODIFY a policy, not overwrite with new settings.
