There should be some sort of indication that a scan is running on a computer when it is triggered in the cloud. From what I can tell there is no indication that a scan is currently running or how far along it is, after pushing the "Scan Now" button.
June of 2020, wondering if this is being considered for change.

This is a pretty important feature and one that has been a part of every other top end brand for a decade, yet here it is 2019 and nothing has been done that I see.
Its' strange that a detailed scan status is shown on Mac clients, but not Windows. I would love to see where the scan is in its progress at any point that its running on our Windows clients. Basic stuff.

There should also be a Scan Stop or Pause option in Central to interrupt a triggered scan. And also a progress bar on the Endpoint and notification in central that currently scan is taking place on respective endpoints.
This is a very basic option and i believe it should be available

One way to accomplish this would be to report "Scan started" as an Event for the Endpoint or Server. "Scan completed" is reported that way. Showing when a scan started confirms to the operator that the command from Central was executed on the client, and would also allow operator to see the time it took for the scan to complete.
