  1. Add RBL list to improve the anti spam detection

    Sophos central Email gateway does not have RBL check. It's useful to enforce the spam detection. Actually on our customer we have some problems with that.

  2. Report false positives from quarantine

    Would it be possible to submit a false positive to Sophos from the quarantine?

    We have a scenario where emails are being blocked and we have to chase the user to submit them to Sophos for examination.

    For us we are monitoring the Quarantine as "admins" and would like to report false positives from here.

  3. remove the signature off the message digest

    This for the Sophos Email Appliance.

    Can you add the option to remove the signature off the message digest as it shows with the email address sophosalert@<userdomain>.
    This has not been configured and there is no option to remove it.

  4. time of click

    Time-of-Click to support embedded credentials within the link.

    As it stands when you have a link sent that contains credentials the Time of Click conversion loses these and your get a 401. Invalid Credentials message. The workaround is to whitelist the domain and get the email resent, or turn off Time of Click.

  5. Allow and Block list search or filter

    If an administrator adds 1000s or even just 100s of allow or block list entries on Central Email gateway it becomes unmanageable.

    For example if you configure lets say 100 allow list entries on central - if you wanted to modify/remove a single entry you can only scroll through a single page, you need to scroll to the bottom > let it refresh > scroll to the bottom > refresh > scroll > refresh and so on just to find a single entry.

    If you have 1000s of entries this can literally take 15-30 minutes just check or modify an…

  6. With AD sync allow users to modify filters

    At this time when you use the ad sync program there are default filters which cannot be modified:

    (objectCategory=Person)
    (objectClass=User)
    (!sAMAccountType=805306370)
    (!userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)

    Customer has a valid scenario when a employee goes on extended leave their account is disabled on AD but they would still like to receive email on Central. Since AD sync excludes any disabled accounts this mailbox is removed on Central and anyone sending email to them get a bounceback as that mailbox does not exist.

  7. Enable Mail Relay for Disabled AD Accounts

    It would be very helpful if Central supported active email addresses for disabled AD accounts. In our case, when an employee leaves, we disable their AD account. Oftentimes still need the email address active, beyond creating an alias, etc.

  8. Quarantine: Need to be able to release to a different recipient, ie. security department

    When a message is quarantined there should be an option to release it to a different recipient, similar to how it functions within O365/Exchange Online.

    Reason: While it may not be know whether a message is true Spam, we should be able to forward that to a qualified in-house forensics person.

  9. Retain details on Advanced Threat detection deletions

    When an email is sand-boxed and a true threat is discovered, the email is then deleted, but so are the pertinent details such as headers, exact threat (malware, etc), originating IP, any attachments.

    We should be able to retain those should we need them for any of the following purposes:
    Legal Proceedings
    Advanced Forensics to determine origin/persistence
    Additional Network Security Controls

  10. Reflexion - Make whitelisted email addresses pass basic SPF checks

    I was told by Reflexion support that whitelisted addresses do not undergo SPF checks. I would expect whitelisting to overrule a spam score, but not an SPF/forgery check. With auto-whitelisting occurring at Reflexion, and targeted spearphishing attempts on the rise, this is a critical/basic feature that needs to be implemented.

  11. Email blocked list & Email spammed list

    It'll be great to offer a feature where a list of domains or email addresses to be blocked or cleared through can be imported into Sophos as a text file. Similarly, there should be a feature to export as a text file out of Sophos a list of email domains or email addresses that have been blocked or cleared through spam.

  12. Allow Non 'Super Admin' to relese/delete Emails in Quarantine

    For users that I want to be able to monitor and action items within the Email quarantine when I am away, I have to give them 'Super Admin' role, otherwise they cannot release or delete.

    Please grant release and delete privileges to 'Helpdesk' role.

  13. Make the auto whitelist on outbound email optional

    The auto whitelist of email addresses from outbound email should be an option. Whitelisting emails in this manner allows for malicious email to return from the whitelisted email address if that email account gets compromised. This is happening more frequently now where compromised accounts are used to respond or forward emails with a malicious payload.

  15. Email gateway

    The need to add outbound scanning to sophos central email gateway. Right now I have like 3 to 4 customers that has procured this service but wants to drop it due to this deficiencies. I am aware outbound is supported via utm but that won't solve any real life scenarios as this will still depend on customers public IP. Please it is of great value if this service can be available on central.

  16. Sophos Outlook Add-in for Windows 10 and

    The Sophos Outlook Add-in for Windows 10 and an Outlook 2016 (32bit) doesn't work. The install end with an Error 1001. Oulok Not Installed.
    I contacted Sophos support and thy pointed me to this page to make a feature request(?) In my opinion this is not a request for a feature but a request to fix a bug in an add-in.
    I am using:
    * Sophos Oulook All in version 1.3.1
    * Windows 10 64 bit
    * Office 2016 32nit

  17. Whitelist / Blacklist Import / Export Function

    An import and export function in the Inbound Allow/Block list would be nice. This would allow us to send reports to the client of what their Whitelist/Blacklist settings are.

    Currently copy and paste is the only way to produce this, and there is no way to "import" an already developed list.

  19. Sophos Central Email - Scanning for harmful links

    It would be great if Sophos Central Email had the ability to scan for phishing links, and any other potentially harmful links. Currently it only has the ability to look for messages that fail the SPF check.

    Please increase frequency of email summary alerts for blocked email. 1 email summary a day is not enough.
