Admin roles: Hide options that the user cannot access
I have verified that if we use roles to limit admin access we still have visibility on the options available.
The feature required is for this to be hidden (like it was on the Cyberoam) – so that limited admins do now know about the options that they do not have privileges to access.
Currently they can see all available options but see a message saying "You do not have the privilege to access the page or perform the operation" when they try access something they should not have rights to.
So for example if a user is limited with access to Reports only they should only see the "Reports" menu option under the "Monitor and Analyze" section.
Same thing on XG, it would be nice if limited admins cannot see hidden menù
On the Cyberoam, if you created an Administrator Profile and set access to a section as "None" then that menu item did not even appear when that administrator logged in. On the Sophos, all the menu items appear but just say you don't have access. This is annoying because then people ask for access.
I want to be able to create a login for managers to view live reports. As they are not technical people, I just want them to be able to login and see nothing on the menu except the "Reports" option.
Please consider putting this back and building the menu dynamically based on what items the user has access to.
