Add support SNMP Community answer to any (0.0.0.0) IP Address
Currently it is needed create one Community to each specific IP address.
It is impossible create two 'Public' communities by example to two different IP address or create a single Community String for any (0.0.0.0) Ip address.
I agree the Sophos UTM would allow you to select a network or multiple host definitions. Yet another reason holding us back from fully adopting the XG units.
I think the proper way to implement this is to change the "Community" IP address setting to a selection field where you can specify defined ip hosts or ip host groups (or create on the fly as in many other places in the UI).

same problem. This is causing major issues with monitoring systems, especially those with clustered setups.
Why is an SNMP community string limited to only a single IP address? I even tried using an IP of a subnet: 192.168.20.0 or with a mask: 192.168.20.0/24 or 255.255.255.0 ....can't even use an 'all' with 0.0.0.0.
How many networks have only a single computer using SNMP? Only one that doesn't have any network admins using IP Address Tracker. We scan networks and walk with a pre-built list of SNMP community strings to identify the equipment.
That's what SNMP info is for....to let people know what the equipment is, where it is, and who to contact.
It's not supposed to be a secret from your own network.
I agree.... This is cause a big problem and limitation with monitoring system.

or an IP and netmask combo would be ideal!
