  1. Add custom DDNS provider option

Please provide an option where everyone can add their own favourite DDNS provider. Just a provider field and query url text box as input would do. This works fine for Synology DSM.

    Query URL Variables:
    HOSTNAME: Hostname
    MYIP: IPv4 address
    USERNAME: Username/Email
    PASSWORD: Password/Key

    Example:
    Service provider: provider_XYZ
    Query URL:
    https://ddns.provider.org/update?hostname=HOSTNAME&myip=MYIP

  2. DDNS should update immediately when a port address changes

In the Host details section under the Dynamic DNS tab, IPv4 address can be set to either Use port IP or IPNATed public IP. Below that is the option for IP edit checking interval.

If I understand this correctly, when set to IPNATed public IP, the XG firewall has to contact some server on the internet to determine what the public IP is. Therefore, it makes sense to set an interval at which it will contact this server.

However, when set to Use port IP, the XG firewall should be aware at all times what the port IP address is…

  7. Add NO-IP as Dynamic DNS Provider

Please add noip.com (formerly ddns.net) to your list of supported dynamic dns providers. I have used them for years with a Sonicwall and now find out I can not use them on my new Sophos fw. Just renewed a three-year contract with noip.com, so I hate to throw that money away on a alternative provider.

  8. Add Strato DynDNS Provider

Something I miss in SFOS is the possibility to use my Strato DynDNS accounts. Please add it in new releases. Thanks

  9. Create an IP Scan function in diagnostics

I think this would be an exceptionally useful tool for admins to have rather than having to log on to a server and use third party tools.

Scan a zone / subnet and report back:
    IP Address
    Host name
    User
    MAC Address
    Open ports

  11. Cloudflare

I have moved almost everything over to cloudflare. Being able to have XG update it automatically would be great.
    API here
    https://api.cloudflare.com/

DNS-O-Matic also supports cloudflare and many others.

  13. Dynamic DNS: Ability to enable/disable updating per-host

It would be nice, to have again a switch, as it is in UTM, to disable or enable the entry.
This way you can not prepare host names and switch them on, when you want' to go live with them.

  14. Add OpenDNS DynDNS Provider

Just migrated from UTM to XG. It's fantastic. One small thing, please bring back support for OpenDNS dynamic DNS. Please, please.

  15. Dynamic DNS - Create own providers like possible with SMS Gateways

Create own providers under Dynamic DNS like it's done under SMS Gateways like to update IPv6 Tunnel endpoints when the WAN IP changes or third party DynDNS Services.

  16. DNSimple Dynamic DNS Provider

Please add DNSimple as a Dynamic DNS provider. The link below provides info on their Bash Client as well as APIs if you should choose to bake your own or extend some convenience features into the Web Interface. All that is needed to make this work on an XG is some sort of scheduler (LaunchD/Cron) to run the bash script.

    https://developer.dnsimple.com/tools/

    Bash Script Example Below:

    !/bin/bash

    TOKEN="your-oauth-token" # The API v2 OAuth token
ACCOUNT_ID="12345" # Replace with your account ID
ZONE_ID="yourdomain.com" # The zone ID is the name of the zone (or domain)
RECORD_ID="1234567" # Replace with the Record ID …
