move virus email notification from the workstations to the SEC. Most workstations have smtp disabled for security so if a virus hits it admins are unaware until the nightly summary report. by moving it to the SEC admins are notified in a more timely manner2 votesAlready Possible · AdminDarrenT (Senior Product Manager, Sophos Features & Ideas Laboratory) responded
email alerting can be achieved via the console using the thresholds.
Before an update of SAV Version, would help administrators, if Sophos informs a few days in advance per mail.
Currently, preview and recommended version as of May 2019 are on the same ver-sion. Which is probably not the idea of the system. So clients can’t be tested with a preview test group.

We publish a release calendar here: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/120189
Preview and recommended are sometimes the same although this only happens when there has been no Preview version for an extended period.
Sophos Admins need a way to force uninstall remotely from the console.
This is a standard features across other AV products i have used.
we have a deployment of over 260 machines across 1km long distance. It is not always feasible to walk to the pc or log in remotely if the user is using the pc.
Why has this basic admin feature not been implemented?1 voteAlready Possible · AdminDarrenT (Senior Product Manager, Sophos Features & Ideas Laboratory) responded
Whilst you can’t remove the endpoint from SEC you can re-protect an endpoint. We have no plans to add a remote uninstall option.
Add a option for notification/Alert if Sophos update manger failed to update2 votes
SEC will show failed updates for SUM if no update is received in after 72 hours, this is the longest period that SophosLabs would take to issue a security update.
A Platinum customer would like to see a feature which would enable them to randomise scheduled scan for Linux/Unix systems. If this can be set centrally via this would be great, if not any other way of doing this would be great.
It's particularly useful to do have this as it would help minimise issues when scanning multiple virtual machines all at the same time.1 vote
Please check this and see if you can use it for the platforms you mention: https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/113828
Currently for scheduled scans the option to run at lower priority is only available on Windows vista and above. Would it be possible to have this ability for MAC?1 vote
We already use the “Nice” feature on OS X to reduce the impact of scanning, the level is set to 20.

You can sort the computers by any of the columns in the computer list view
Some of my customers' networks are forced to run a Windows machine just for Enterprise Console. I know this is a long shot, but if SEC were implemented on a cross-platform framework such as Qt (which provides everything .NET does and more,) it could be used on all of the major platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux,) greatly increasing deployment flexibility.1 vote
Sophos Cloud runs in a browser to this can be considered as cross platform, I know, it’s not SEC but we have no plans to port SEC to other platforms.
