The device ID should be common per model, but that is a question for Kanguru. Please provide me a method for them to contact you. I do not want to be in the middle of them providing eval units to you, but would like to remain aware of the progress. There is one other thing to consider. Kanguru can/will customize the device ID if the customer requests it so that a single device ID can be allowed vs. the entire model type.

Darren, if you can email me off-forum, I can provide you with the contact info for a product specialist at Kanguru. Or proivide me your contact info and I will forward it to them. Then you both can work out logistics for eval devices for certification with the Sophos system.

Here is data copied from the Device Control Event Log for the 2 entries entered for the Secure Flash Drive:

    Date/time: 8/5/2015 13:54
    User: Domain\UserName
    Computer: PC_NAME
    Model: Kanguru Defender USB Device
    Type: Optical Drive
    Status: Blocked
    Device ID: USBSTOR\CDROM&VEN_KANGURU&PROD_DEFENDER&REV_PMAP\0700070754B4D332CF68&1

    Date/time: 8/5/2015 10:25
    User: Domain\UserName
    Computer: PC_NAME
    Model: Kanguru Defender USB Device
    Type: Removable Storage
    Status: Blocked
    Device ID: USBSTOR\DISK&VEN_KANGURU&PROD_DEFENDER&REV_PMAP\0700070754B4D332CF68&0

This is for a Kanguru Defender Elite 30 / 32Gb device and is the only model for which I have data. I would expect that the other capacities will have other ID codes and you will need to contact the Manufacturer to obtain that data.

If you need anything else, let me know.
