We are using Sophos Central.
There already seems to be a process of Sophos Endpoint/Server to auto repair itself as long as a couple of services are running. It would be beneficial to have a KB article published as to what that auto-magic repair process looks like and what, if anything Sophos administrators need to be aware of, to keep that process working.
Case-in-point. It would seem that we had tried pushing out the Sophos install to one of our machines that already had a competing AV product installed (so it wasn't removed as we thought) which caused the SAV product from being installed along with some of the other services. Registration was successful, but some of the services were missing or failed to start. Once the competing AV product was successfully uninstalled, it seemed that Sophos began to install and repair itself.
However, I don't see any KB article that describes this benefit and support had suggested that I submit an idea as to 1.) get the KB article created and 2.) See about making sure that the default services that WOULD repair Sophos be installed before any other potentially conflicting software be attempted.
