Progress bar for full scan

Please add a progress bar for the manually triggered full scan (and an option to abort it). Just seeing "scan in progress" for ages just does not feel right...

    I agree. When you see the progress bar running you know the scan is working. Just seeing text doesn't give confidence the scan is running.

    It is very poor user interaction to not provide any feedback during a major system activity.

    Completely agree with all comments here. It is such a basic omission, it makes me doubt Sophos really knows what they are doing.

    Sobre todo que en las versiones de MacOs si existe dicha barra de progreso. No entiendo que no la pongan en Windows.

    Over a year later and still no progress bar, cancel, etc.. . why do we even post comments.. apparently its a waste of time

    ABSOLUTELY agree! Not having a status bar while trying to provide AV protection to customers that need to use their computers during normal business hours is unacceptable. Just having a grayed out "scan in progress" button doesn't do the job.

    Agree 100%. I think these are basic function, every AV have a progress bar & even status on what file it is currently scanning. Also, there should be option to custom scan such as thumbdrive/ other device. How can Sophos do not have this?
