As an MSP we utilize Labtech to manage all endpoints. We NEED to be able to reliably see that not only Sophos endpoints are detected, but that they are actually updated properly with definitions. Please work with Labtech like all the other major AV vendors to provide us with an efficient and reliable method of being able to manage the endpoints.
We integrate with Windows Security Centre using the Microsoft APIs, this is a recognised way to check what security products are installed and working.

This would be nice to see. Have a 5000+ end point MSP and we are stuck using Webroot because Sophos support claims they do not support the Connectwise Automate plug in or deployment of the AV using the RMM... nor does it report correctly in windows security centre. I just keep waiting for Sophos to start competing with the big boys but not yet...

MattG, I just discovered the Sophos Central plugin in the Solution Center today. I don't see any documentation on it though. I am piecing it together by looking at the Groups, Searches and EDFs but would love something official on it though so I'm not trying to reverse engineer it. Curious if you or anyone else has located anything?
I just logged into our Connectwise Automate solution center and there is now a sophos solution set in there.
From the look of it:
- install status
Great work guys. we now have both Automate and Manage intergrated into Sophos.

When querying the Windows Security Centre, the following response is given by the "Virus & threat protection" section: "Sophos Anti-Virus is installed as an antivirus provider. Status unavailable, open Sophos Anti-Virus for information."
If the status of the antivirus is unavailable, then it's not integrated with the Security Centre correctly.
Can you please integrate correctly with either Labtech/Automate or Windows Security Centre.

In the same boat, using ConnectWise Automate (Formerly LabTech) and our reports are showing that Sophos is installed but not updating for months, yet when online in Sophos Central it is displaying as definitions are updated successfully daily on most systems. This is very frustrating, and I did come across a forum or support page of some sort to say that the latest version of Automate ver12 come with out of the box detection on Cloud Central Endpoints, but this does not seem to be the case. Can anyone point me in the direction or correct me if I am wrong.....Please tell me I am wrong!!!

It doesnt report virus dates properly so basically everything is always 30 days old even if it isnt

I came here from a google search for Sophos + Labtech integration as others will, because nearly every major security vendor has direct integration and I am stuck using cryptoguard since you bought out hitman alert. Checking that a security product is installed and working is not the same as managing them and your response indicates a complete ignorance of the MSP market.
Your attitude is hallmark Sophos arrogance and is a reminder why I'm glad we pulled our 100 firewalls and 2000 endpoints away from Sophos and I'll continue to recommend other products to colleagues in the MSP field. You should be ashamed to treat your customers or potential customers with such disdain.

I agree we are running Sophos in the cloud and lab tech does not recognize Sophos is installed on the computers. Would like to see a solution to this as we use lab tech everyday
