Troubleshooting for RED
to be able to do basic troubleshooting on RED devices it would be fine to include CLI access and some basic commands like:
telnet (for Port checks)
this would be fine, if something fails between remote location and central device. It would be nice to be able to prove functionality for other involved parties.

This feature is useful also for me and also more detailed (debug) logs on the ASG. Actually I have opened a support ticket because we have a problem with a RED when connected to particular ADSL. The problem seems to be a MTU discovery but I have not way to know what happened inside the RED.
I think that for the remote user the RED must be a blackbox but the administrator need to know everyting about this box....
RED is a kind of long wire from your ASG to the branch office. You have a chance to do tcpdump for instance since RED is handled as a real interface on the ASG.
