Web Server Protection: Certificate-based Authentication
I would appreciate to support certificate-based authentication like at Microsoft TMG. I don't know why Sophos is making advertisements for "Replace your TMG with Sophos UTM" if UTM even can't do this! I want the reverse proxy to check a client certificate, If this certificate is not valid or it doesn't exists it shows an error page.

Is sophos, one day, will be uptodate with their clients need ?

+1 Really need it for some customers!!
Sadly, this is a show stopper for us. Too bad.
Any news? TMG customers are waiting for this feature.

This feature is necessary for a real replacement of TMG.
Yes, since a DNAT is currently required, we would have to implement a separate WAF solution on each server which is time consuming and represents additional costs. Please add this feature to the Sophos UTM.
We also have a requirement for an certificate-based authentication. Please implement this feature.
I have found this as a requirement for some banks in order to replace tmg....
