Allow notification settings to use smarthost with port 465 smtp-ssl
Notifications in 9.x don't work if you set the notification smarthost to a SMTP server with port 465.
A postfix error appears in the logs:

I have the same issue with my ISP routing outbound mail through a smarthost (not in the notification settings), using port 587 and SSL/TLS. It would be nice to have those options for the SMTP smarthost in email protection as well.
@SEAJ Thanks! You saved me a good bit of time.
Switching to port 587 did the trick.
Use port 587. TLS Required. May also need to open firewall outbound rule for email to 587 on UTM. smtp.gmail.com
How does it work? Do we have to wait until this feature is created? I have the same problem. I have services that need to comunicatewith Google SMTP server. There isnt any workarroud yet?
