MailSecurity: Per-User SMTP-Profiles
Define a per-user profile for smtp-proxy. Currently we can only do this by domain, but we need a way to have specific per-user settings for the filters.
This is required for defining a differing file-extension-blocking-filter for special users, who should receive several extensions, but are in the same domain as the standard definition.
This would be very usefull. Like with Web Protection user in the same domain should be handled with different smtp-profiles.

This would be useful for us in this scenario:
For email, we have "suspected spam" tagged with *SPAM* instead of quarantined. Confirmed spam is rejected.
Now, most people like getting ALL email as quickly as possible, instead of getting false positives caught up in a report they only get twice a day (I know they can go to their mail quarantine any time and check it but that's besides the point here).
Some people though, get so much email and don't care about timeliness that they'd rather see the quarantine report twice a day.
To make this happen with a single profile, we'd have to set it to Quarantine everyone's email by default, and then make Exceptions for every single person except the 5 that want quarantine reports, so that they continue to get their *SPAM* prefix.
If we could do multiple profiles that could be based on any part of the email address and not just the domain, we could set up a profile to match say "johnd", "Shellym", "stevew" and send them the quarantine report, while the other profile would match everyone else and continue to add the subject prefix.
This would prevent us from initially having to add all those email addresses as exceptions, as well as keeping up with adding every new person to the exception list as we get new people.
For an example of how this works, check out SpamTitan

i think this is a very helpfull function. like in the websecurity it must be possible to define smtp profiles for different internal usergroups of a maildomain.
in Websecurity we can define different filteractions based on the Network and Group (Active Directory, local, ...) the User belongs to. with our security policy we have standard - Mailuser (only pdf attachments. no executable, ...) and Power-Mailuser. (attachments allowed - but not all mime types, ...).
We have a licence for Mailsecurity - but i dont know how to realize this konfiguration in AMG.

Sebastian, I believe you can accomplish what you want. Please post a question on the Astaro User BB: http://www.astaro.org/.
