Route Based IPsec tunneling
To connect more than one location to a microsoft azure environment it is neccesary to build route based IPsec connections. In future Microsoft azure will be a important solution platform, so many customer will use this solution.
Sophos, please implement. I can't believe this is not possible yet in 2019! It is quite painful having to use a policy based vpn within Azure.
Exactly - thanks Gunter. We need to connect an on-prem environment to an Azure VNet that is peered to another Azure VNet - without route based IPsec this can't be done
There will be many Azure customers that face this problem, where they are integrating more than one Azure VNet with an on-prem environment for Azure AD Directory Services, for example, allowing the use of this instead of a domain controller
Need VTI (virtual tunnel interface) functionality for new tecnology with communicating with german customs authorities.
Many import / export businesses must change to VTI in germany within the next year.
