More detailed Mail Exception Configuration
Allow to configure exceptions for extension blocking for single extensions.
Actually it is only possible to create an exception and disable extension blocking at all. For special recipients it would be helpful to allow for example exe-attachments, but still block all other extensions.
Furthermore it should be possible to create exceptions and combine sender AND recipient address. Actually it is only possible to filter for sender OR recipient address.
For OR>AND, I believe this is an oversight: According to https://ideas.sophos.com/forums/17359-sg-utm/suggestions/246220-exceptions-usage-of-and-or , this should already be fixed a long, long time ago (but isn't, AFAICT).
Generally, more options are sorely missing:
* envelope-from, envelope-to, header-from, header-to, subject pattern, content pattern, DKIM-valid, SPF-valid, ...
It's really annoying to have twice a day a 99% pointless daily spam report with exactly the same seven subject lines since months, but only changing source spam addresses - and 1% is actually an important spam report which you then miss. :(
This would be a very useful addition.
Having to completely disable the file extension blocking just because one extension needs to be permitted is not great.

This feature is helpful against ransomware attacks as well. It would provide the possibility to block all Microsoft Office extensions (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx) and allow it only for selective senders. But for these senders it should still not be possible to send files with .pif or .scr extension.
