Anyone dealing with this, there is a new version of the plug in that isn't updated on the XG that works with click2run available here:
Tested and working
Still not supported.
Sophos Outlook Add-in is supported for Office2016. It can be downloaded from MySophos Portal
Office 2019 is released.. why isn't there an update for Office 2016? It's almost 2019 - poor
This is an important feature if Sophos wants to continue getting our business.
Is there any update ?
I have no problems with Outlook 2016 Prof Plus and Exchange 2013 Sp1 (CU4).

C'mon Sophos.. don't leave us in the dark.. any ETA on when this might be fixed?

Our Retail 2016 kit was updated to Click2Run. Please fix the incompatibility.
We also used the add-in for the SPX encryption with Outlook 2013. Now we changed to Outlook 2016 and the add-in no longer works. Office 2016 has been officially available for over two years, as it should be possible to develop an add-in! Disappointing Sophos!
Very frustrating that this is not working in Outlook 2016. We pay for a product such as UTM, we are sold that there is a nice plugin that will help not only us but sophos by sending emails for spam/ phishing analysis, so they are known about for future updates to email appliance and UTM treat definitions.
The mind boggles
Is there a reason why this has not been implemented yet?
It is ridiculous the amount of issues with this addin. This needs to support click-to-run installations. The majority of organizations are going this route as the package is lightweight, fast to install, and can exempt automatic updates from occurring so that patching can be done by the org instead. This has been working with Office 2013 CTR, but does not work with Office 2016 CTR, and all I get is that you won't support it. This is basic functionality...
This add-in doesn't even work properly on a lot of 2013 installations... Get with the times Sophos...
