Exchange account push passwords to individual devices
We use the IBM Traveler (Domino) combination and iOS native mail app. Therefore, an Exchange account must be created in the MDM (ActiveSync).
Now, when the Exchange account is sent to the iOS devices, the email account may not work yet because there is no password yet.
For a real Microsoft Exchangeserver, the iOS device would now prompt you to enter the e-mail password once. However, this prompt does not appear if an IBM Traveler server is queried as described above.
In addition, our users do not know the mail passwords.
Therefore, it would be very useful if the passwords of the mail accounts could be sent to the individual devices separately.
I have tested the MDM of Sophos, as we just want to part with our old MDM. Sophos mobile is really very good. But unfortunately I have discovered this point and that means out for Sophos mobile.
If this feature is still established, I will buy the MDM on a grand scale.

Of course, we can send the passcode to the devices. But it means a separate profile for all users. Does IT have a list of all passcodes to Exchange or how should this be handled

Yes, we have a list. With several hundred devices that would be a fight against windmills and not really helpful.
