In addition to the Outlook add-in "Always ask how to proceed with attached file" policy exclusion list, I'd like to see an inclusion list. For most of our clients, we handle data that doesn't need to be secured. There are a few domains for financial institutions and other organizations where we do tend to handle more sensitive data for. I'd love to have "always ask" on for just those domains we need to be more secure with.1 vote
Thanks Randy, this is a valid suggestion.
I need to be able to encrypt all USB drives that get connected to our systems. We have a lot of users who backup up to external drives, which could easily be stolen. Also need to encrypt any usb flash drives that are being used as well. This is a high priority.9 votes
Thanks for the feedback.
Manage BitLocker on Server platforms and also support a cost-effective decommissioning process of drives.43 votes
Thanks for the feedback. This is something we are considering for future versions.
There is an old entry for this but no new updates / comments. When will we likely see this so that customers can truly go Cloud and not rely on Safeguard for this function. Thanks1 vote
Thanks for the feedback. We do not have any immediate plans to add support for BitLocker to Go.
Sophos Central - Manage Endpoint Software: Add ability to remove any/all Sophos software from a computer from the Central Management Console
Sophos Central - Manage Endpoint Software: Add ability to remove any/all Sophos software from a computer from the Central Management Console.
This should include just Central Encryption Components as well.
Many MSPs want the ability to remove their management for their customers and this would include all traces or a managed software solution. This is a very common request among MSPs and their automation facilities and tools that they use to manage and deploy software to customer computers.3 votes
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the most important change in
data privacy regulation. We need to answer the question "where is PII data" to protect. It would be great if we could identify where PII data is by using Sophos.1 vote
What’s being requested here sounds like a data at rest feature, this is a lot different from what we have today, we don’t currently have any plan to add this type of feature in our products. We are looking at GDPR and the current DLP feature to see what we would need to do to be able to support the GDPR requirements from a data in motion aspect.
Sophos Central Disk Encryption: Need to be able to select which partitions on Windows and Mac get encrypted
Sophos Central Disk Encryption: Need to be able to select which partitions on Windows and Mac devices alike so that all drives are not always encrypted be default.
On Windows machines, some come from the factory woth recovery partition software. Encrypting these partitions creates a problem for using the recovery options from a post BIOS boot.
On Macs, some devices may have multiple partitions for a variety of reasons. Decrypting them is not done automatically when the primary is decrypted and requires it be a manual process.
Giving the choice adds to the flexibility and benefit of feature flexibility2 votes
