Network Protection: Bi-directional firewall rules
Create bidirectional firewall rules. For example 2 Servers need to contact each other on the same ports. Now you have to create 2 Firewall rules.
i think the hability of make a packet filter rules in both directions somes times is usefull make this , like the coning the rule and alternarte the source and destination.
It would be nice to have a checkbox in the packetfilterrule which allows to extend the rule to match both directions. For example: you have a
Rule Source: LAN_A, Service: SMB-Transfers, Destination: LAN_B
then the checkbox would tell the middleware to build an addional rule:
Source: LAN_B, Service: SMB-Transfers, Destination: LAN_A

BTW: This is already possible using a small workaround. Simply put these 2 servers into a network group, and create a single packetfilterrule with this network group as source and as destination. I'm also friend of grouped, small packetfilter rulesets ;o)
